Aunt Nancy's Recipes
Everyone needs an Aunt Nancy. My own Aunt Nancy is 87 years old, raises sheep in Wisconsin, spins her own wool, and cans the fruits and vegetables on her small farm herself. I have called her countless times for advice on canning, freezing, making cheese and baking. She is a wise sage.
The recipes on this page are tried and true. I have prepared these countless times with great success. Click on the links for a downloadable pdf file. Make sure you follow the directions carefully, and measure everything! Successful jams, jellies and preserves depend upon a very specific fruit-sugar-pectin ratio when preparing them.
